Overview

Folded appointment cards give you four panels instead of two. That is room for your logo and opening hours on the outside and a run of appointment slots inside, so one card can carry a whole course of treatment.

Folded appointment card sizes

There are two flat sizes, and both fold in half to the familiar 85mm x 55mm pocket card.

85mm x 110mm folds along the top edge, so the card opens upwards like a small tent.
170mm x 55mm folds down the middle, so it opens sideways like a tiny book.

Set your artwork up at the flat size, with the fold line in the centre.

Card and finish

Every card is 350gsm silk art board: a stiff, smooth stock with a gentle sheen that holds colour and fine type crisply. You then choose the lamination.

Writing on folded appointment cards

Plan the finish around how the card is used. If staff will write dates inside, leave the card unlaminated and keep a ballpoint at reception. Lamination resists ink, so choose matt or gloss only when the card is mostly printed, for example a loyalty card with pre-printed visit boxes you stamp or punch.

Single or double sided

Double sided prints the outside and inside of the fold. Single sided prints one face only, which can leave the inside blank for notes.

Which way do the two sizes open?

The 85mm x 110mm card folds along the top and opens upwards. The 170mm x 55mm card folds in the middle and opens sideways.

Can I write on a laminated folded card?
